French Bedroom Vocabulary

Lexique de la chambre à coucher

Here you will find a complete list of vocabulary words for things you’ll find in the bedroom in French. Overall these words are unique to French and not borrowed from the English language. Similar to people in America, Canada and the UK, the French take great pride in their bedrooms’ decor and often feature beautiful duvet covers (les couvettes) and bedspreads (le couvre-lit).
