S’il vous plaît = please (Formal)
Ça, s’il vous plaît = that please
Ce plat = this dish
Ce café = this coffee
Je veux = I want
Vous voulez = you want
Je veux ce plat = I want this dish
Je ne veux pas ce plat = I don’t want this dish
La carte = the menu
Je veux la carte, s’il vous plaît.
I want the menu, please.
Le = the (masculine)/La = the (feminine)
Ce = this (masculine)
Cette = this (feminine)
L’eau = the water/Cette eau (this water)
I want a coffee, please
Je veux un café, s’il vous plaît.
Un = a/an (masculine)/Une = a/an (feminine)
Je veux une eau, s’il vous plaît.
I want a water, please.
Je veux l’addition, s’il vous plaît.
I want the bill, please.
