Ça ne mange pas de pain (It can’t hurt)

The French expression “ça ne mange pas de pain” translates literally to “it doesn’t eat bread”. The expression has multiple usages.

English meaning:

  • it doesn’t cost much
  • it can’t hurt

French meaning:

  • ça ne coute pas beaucoup d’argent – it doesn’t cost much money

Example sentence:
