  1. Qu’est‐ce qui est plus important pour toi, se sentir bien ou avoir une belle apparence? Is feeling good or having a nice appearance more important to you?
  2. Est‐ce que tu t’interesse à la beauté? Par example, est‐ce que tu regardes des sites Internet ou des revues au sujet de la beauté? Are you interested in beauty? For example, do you look at websites or magazines about beauty?
  3. À quel age est‐ce que tu as commencé à faire attention à ton apparence? How old were you when you started paying attention to your appearance?
  4. Passes‐tu beaucoup de temps ou peu de temps chaque jour à faire la toilette? Do you pend a lot of time or little time doing personal grooming?
  5. Penses‐tu que l’apparence physique a un impact sur l’estime de soi? Oui ou non et pourquoi? Do you think physical appearance has an effect on your self-esteem?
  6. Penses‐tu que l’apparence physique et la beauté intérieure sont directement liées? Do you think physical appearance and self-esteem are directly related?
  7. Est‐ce que l’apparence physique est quelque chose d’important dans ta famille? Is physical appearance important in your family?
  8. Es‐tu d’accord avec la proverbe, “La beauté est dans les yeux de celui qui regarde”? Do you believe in the saying, “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder?”
  9. Que penses‐tu de la chirurgie esthétique? Connais‐tu quelque’un qui a utilisé la chirurgie esthétique pour améliorer son allure? What do you think about plastic surgery? Do you know anybody who’s used plastic surgery to improve their appearance?
  10. Qui est la plus belle personne de ta famille? As‐tu un/une ancêtre qui a été tres beau/belle? Who’s the most beautiful person in your family? Do you have an ancestor who was very beautiful?
  11. Penses‐tu que la beauté et la réussite dans la vie sont liées? Do you think beauty and success are related?
  12. Qu’est‐ce qui est plus important, l’apparence physique, l’intelligence ou la richesse matérielle? What’s more important – physical beauty, intelligence or material wealth?
  13. Est‐ce qu’il y a un homme célèbre que tu trouves beau? Pourquoi aimes‐tu cet homme? Which famous man to you find to be very handsome? Why do you like this man?
  14. Est‐ce qu’il y a une femme célèbre que tu trouves belle? Pourquoi aimes‐tu cette femme? Which famous woman to you find to be very beautiful? Why do you like this woman?
  15. Peux‐tu nomer quelqu’un qui est dans une position de pouvoir grâce à son apparence physique? Can you name somebody who’s in a position of power thanks to their physical appearance?
  16. Peux‐tu nomer quelqu’un célèbre qui a une drôle d’allure? Can you name somebody famous who’s strange looking?
  17. Que penses‐tu des tatouages (tattoo, m)? Aimerais‐tu faire un tatouage? Que ferais tu comme tatouage? What do you think of tattoos? Would you like to get one? What would you have done?
  18. As‐tu assisté à un concours de beauté ou défilé de mode? Qu’est‐ce que tu as pensé de cette experience? Have you ever attended a beauty contest? What did you think of the experience?
