📘 De plus meaning
De plus means furthermore, moreover, or in addition in French. It’s a formal connector used to add emphasis or introduce another point, most often in writing and formal speech. Use it to add an extra idea, similar to what’s more or on top of that in English.
🎧 De plus pronunciation
De plus is pronounced /də plys/ in IPA, or duh-pluss. The u is the French /y/ (like ee with rounded lips), and the final -s is pronounced /s/.
