French Fitness & Training Vocabulary

French Fitness & Training Vocabulary

Here you will find a complete list of French fitness and personal training vocabulary. You will find that while there are specific words for different kind of gym exercise in English, the French use very generic terms. For example, to say “chest press” in French you say: “l’exercise pour la poitrine”, or “exercise for the chest”. Another example is “l’exercise pour les biceps” (exercise for the biceps), which means curls.
