Regular -RE verbs are less common than -ER or -IR verbs, but they follow a simple pattern. In the infinitive form, they end in -re. To conjugate them, drop the -re and add the endings.

How to Conjugate Regular -RE Verbs
Take the verb vendre (to sell). The stem is vend-. The endings are:
- je -s
- tu -s
- il/elle/on (no ending)
- nous -ons
- vous -ez
- ils/elles -ent
👉 Example with attendre (to wait):
- j’attends
- tu attends
- il/elle/on attend
- nous attendons
- vous attendez
- ils/elles attendent

Common Regular -RE Verbs
- attendre — to wait
- entendre — to hear
- répondre — to answer
