Pour que — Meaning and Pronunciation
Pour que is a French conjunction meaning “so that” or “in order that.” It introduces a purpose or goal and is followed by the subjunctive when the subject changes. For example, “Je parle lentement pour que tu comprennes.” (I am speaking slowly so that you understand.)
IPA pronunciation of pour que is /puʁ kə/, which sounds approximately like “poor kuh”.
