Avec means “with” in French. It’s used to express being together with someone, including something, or describing how something is done. For example, Je viens avec toi (I’m coming with you).

Vous venez avec moi.

Normally prepositions cannot come at the end of sentences in French. However, in informal language, avec may be placed at the end of a sentence.

I have the violin. I came with it.

Il parle avec amour.
He speaks lovingly.
9. Over time
Avec le temps, on s’adapte.
Over time, you adapt.
10. In hindsight, looking back
Avec le recul, j’aurais dû apprendre l’espagnol.
Looking back, I should have learned Spanish.
